You know your movie budget is big, when the franchise promotes it’s own cereal. Planet Earth’s largest Marketing machine, United States film industry, is always felt. Marketing includes movie posters, movie trailers, television commercials, toys, restaurant promotions, and yes, even cereal.
A movie studio invests hundreds of millions of dollars to make a blockbuster with no guarantee it will re-coup it’s cost. They pull out all the stops to promote the film. In current times, they have to battle piracy, because the industry loses billions each year.
