The popular social network photo app., Flickr has yet found another Guinto family friend. monfielabc searched for and found our photo of the old Guinto ancestral house in Vinzons, Camarines Norte. He grew up with our own, Marvin Guinto. Here’s what he wrote:
For 2 years-1976 and 1977- I lived here with Lola Dela as her trusted apo, sort of houseboy, hehehe. Got to scrub the 2 floors daily so shiny you can almost see yourself as you look down. Lola Dela’s other apo, Marvin was with me here and he would usually sneak out of the house after 6 pm when lola’ s not looking. I had to look for him when Lola notices he’s not around… She’s a great Lola, a yummy adobo cook…On the left side of this house, actually, is the original ancestral house of the Guintos, where Lolo Sanoy, Lola Dela, daughters and son lived until they got married. The ancestral house in the picture was bought by Lola Dela and Tito Mert from the Balce family sometime in early 70s. Tito Mert was already in the US then.
