Jeff Jordan and the Illini

At Illini Madness (first basketball practice night for college basketball) the newest Illini, Jeff Jordan, participates in the dunk competition. Jeff is 6′2″ but has a 46″ vertical leap. His legendary father, Michael Jordan, is about 5 inches taller.
Jeff is a walk-on on the Illini team and should get some playing time with the recent departures and red shirt of Quentin Watkins and Jamar Smith. Michael has driven down to Champaign to visit on practice and will attend one or more games. If you see a silver Ferrari in Champaign-Urbana, it’s Michael’s OR Deron Williams. He has one, too.
One on of his attempts, Jeff wore his father’s old #23 Bulls jersey to the roar of the crowd. Check out Jeff’s mad hops.

actually, it was a promotion for breast cancer awareness thing. it was a bad idea…the Pink Krush doesn’t fit in college basketball. you should have seen 14,000 in pink. I hope they don’t do it again. oh, the Illini are going to surprise this year.
